What is a Gratitude Journal?

It is a space where you can stop for a while, reflect and appreciate the small moments that make our life interesting.

It contains a total of 90 pages of gratitude writing, 150 pages in total, so if you write daily, it will last you 3 months. The additional 60 pages are full of simple exercises, techniques and quotes, each carefully selected to guide you on your journey to improve your mental well being.

By spending just three minutes each day noting these moments, you're not only creating a collection of happy memories, you're also training your mind to focus on the positive. Over time, a growing amount of studies show how this can lead to, among many other things, reduced stress levels, improved sleep, increased feelings of happiness and an overall improvement in your mental health.

The goal is to make us realize that even if we have a bad day, we always have something to be thankful for. The more you practice gratitude, the richer your life, the stronger your relationships, and the more surmountable your challenges. You will be able to gain energy for the smallest things you have since long been overlooking.

  • who is behind the project?

    Hi, my name is Johan Nilsson, I'm originally from northern Sweden but I have for many years now been living in the heart of Europe where I founded the brand GoodWays, a way for me to do what I can to make the world around me a little bit better place.

    I've always felt a strong pull to work on things that can have a positive impact on others. I had been working on the idea to create a gratitude journal in my head for a few years, as something that have had a big positive impact on me in my life, I knew that this is just something that I have to share with others, it felt strongly part of my purpose. To use the latest research studies along with my own experiences and those of people around me to try to create the best possible Gratitude Journal!

    It’s been an interesting journey creating the journal, both internally and externally. Talking to experts as well as friends and people I meet, hearing about their experience with gratitude and the immense positive effect it has had on their lives has been so inspiring and reinforcing my belief in the impact gratitude journaling can have. Countless people have contributed and left their mark in this book coming with great ideas.
